Mr. Lohr's students were given a challenge to build the tallest structure they could with Keva Building Planks using what they have learned so far from their Terrace Town Unit on building and architecture. Mr. Lohr went around the classroom measuring the structures as they were built. One of them almost reached the ceiling and was measured at a height of 101 inches. That is almost 8 ½ feet tall!!
Another previous challenge for the students was to build a functioning marble-works contraption. The students surely do rise to these challenges and have enjoyed this unit of learning! The K/1 and 2/3 students are also applying their learning through using the Keva Building Planks!
