During our NCS All-School Family Ice Cream Social last week, Mr. Gundlach’s 2nd and 3rdgrade students hosted a School History Museum that celebrated the NCS school building's 100th anniversary!  The museum was held throughout NCS with students eplaining their projects to families and staff.  It was an opportunity for students in the class to share their learning with an authentic audience. Being able to explain what you've learned to others can deepen and cement one's own learning.  The 2/3 students helped the NCS community to learn and appreciate the interesting history of the building and of the students, teachers, and families who came before us.  It was a nice culminating event after lots of work and learning!
