Summer Happenings & Back to School Information

We are looking forward to welcoming our NCS students for our new school year starting on Aug. 23! Here is some important information for you! UPCOMING NCS EVENTS FOR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES:

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL:  Friday, August 23rd (full day for ALL NCS students) NCS BACK TO SCHOOL SOCIAL for NCS parents/guardians right after dropping off your student: 7:45-9:15 am at Harriet Park (coffee and light refreshments provided)

NCS BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT:  Wednesday, September 18th, from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm

PICTURE DAY:  Wednesday, September 25th   

CLASSROOM SUPPLY LISTS:
Kindergarten and 1st grade Classroom Supply List
2nd and 3rd grade Classroom Supply List
4th and 5th grade Classroom Supply List

NCS SCHEDULE OF START, DISMISSAL, LUNCH AND RECESS TIMES:

LATE START MONDAYS:

9:15 am – First Bell (Students may enter the building)
9:25 – Second Bell (Students must be in their classrooms)
No morning Recesses
11:10-11:30 am – Recess for grades 2-5
11:15-11:35 am – Recess for grades K and 1
11:30-11:55 am – Lunch for grades 2-5
11:35-Noon – Lunch for grades K and 1
2:40 pm – Dismissal   (NOTE:  NEW DISMISSAL TIME 5 MINUTES LATER)

TUESDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS (until swimming starts on Dec. 16):
7:35 am – First Bell (Students may enter the building)
7:45 – Second Bell (Students must be in their classrooms)
9:00-9:20 am – Recess for grades K and 1
9:20-9:40 am – Recess for grades 2-3
10:00-10:20 am – Recess for grades 4-5
11:10-11:30 am – Recess for grades 2-5
11:15-11:35 am – Recess for grades K and 1
11:30-11:55 am – Lunch for grades 2-5
11:35-Noon – Lunch for grades K and 1
