Mr. Gundlach's Class shares projects at the Mini Maker Faire

MR. GUNDLACH’S 2nd and 3rd graders had an exhibit booth at the "Madison Mini Maker Faire" on Saturday, May 13. Their focus was on sharing some of the "museum-style" exhibits they have been developing for a future celebration of our school building's 100th anniversary:

--An old-time radio show;

--3D models of the school building made with Lego, Minecraft, and Google SketchUp;

--Choose Your Own Adventure stories;

--Scratch projects;

--animations;

--art work;

--and more!

2nd graders Aidan (Ace) and Dom (with help from Fischer) using Stikbot animation to give a preview of some of our exhibits at the Madison Mini Maker Faire.

To get a feel for some of our students’ history learning, here is a recent video that we posted about the carnivals used to be held at the Verona Graded School.  They used to hold the carnivals in Mr. Lohr’s room that used to be the gymnasium.
