Principal Welcome

Welcome New Century School Families:

On behalf of our entire staff and student body, I am excited to welcome you to New Century School!   I am committed to supporting every student to be successful in school. New Century School (NCS) offers innovative and collaborative educational opportunities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and the natural environment. Using STEAM as our guiding light,staff, students, and families collaborate to ensure the future success of our students, school and community. 

Families are an important part of our school. We welcome you to join us at our many special events celebrating student’s learning. You can also be a part of our Governance Council or the many other committees that make our school unique. You can find the dates for our special events and information to stay engaged in our school community by perusing our monthly newsletter. 

I have been in education since 1999. During that time I have taught grades 1st-4th and been a principal at two other elementary schools.  I graduated from Northwestern University and have a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University. I did my graduate coursework for school administration at UW-Madison. My family consists of my husband Tim and daughter Lily. When I’m not at school you can find me enjoying the special events and places in the area.
